Yes, Happy Election Day. It’s easier to say that in the morning when anything is possible rather than at night once all the states start reporting and the electoral votes swing either right or left. Then, depending on your party affiliation it may be either Happy Election Day or Miserable Election for Four Years.
I am still optimistic that we as Americans are independent thinkers and don’t need a celebrity to tell us to Rock the Vote. However, I am concerned that registered voters don’t pay attention to the plans of both candidates and would rather look at the sizzle and not the steak.
Anyway, it is a great freedom to vote, and even better have our vote mostly count, unlike those voting in the recent Venezuelan election. So which ever side you swing, get out and vote. You may just need to wait a week for the results.
