2012 Holiday Gift Ideas

I tried hard to wait until December before posting the 2012 Holiday Gift Ideas post. I really did. Unfortunately this time frame didn’t jive with the gift planning and buying public. So I succumbed to the masses and present you this list today to ensure there is enough prep time before Black Friday.

There is most likely something for everyone on this list and in every price range. I based it off gifts I like, gifts I may purchase and gifts I know others will enjoy. I tried not to overburden it with hundreds of choices, but rather provide you will thoughtful ideas that I hope will save a little time and frustration.

So here it is, the essential 2012 Holiday Gift Ideas List. Enjoy.

Google Chrome Book laptop
The new Chrome Book is extremely light and inexpensive. There are two models to select from the Samsung for $249 and up and the Acer from $199. Since cloud computing is widely excepted the Chromebook is a perfect gift and a great alternative to a more costly tablet.

Beats by Dr. Dre Headphones
The new standard in audio entertainment. Just a few years ago Bose ruled the headphone world, however behind the business savvy of former N.W.A. member Dr. Dre, Beats has become the premier brand. The headphones can get pricey, but for the trend consensus person on your list it is the only choice.

Home Appliances

Keurig Brewing System
Keurig makes a variety of products for any coffee, tea or hot chocolate drinker or even non-caffeinated drinker. These machines are a great product to have for entertaining guests and makes a cup of java instantly.

Aerolatte Milk Frother
A more inexpensive hot beverage necessity to the brew system counterpart. This helps make a frothy, delicious beverage in no time.

Mickey Mouse Waffle Maker
The perfect item to help kick-start a happy breakfast. The Mickey Waffle Maker is great for any parent with cranky kids in the morning.

Auntie Annes At-Home Pretzel Baking Kit
One of the greatest reasons to visit your local mall is stopping in at Auntie Annes for a delicious, hot pretzel straight out of the oven. Now you can make these tasty treats in your own kitchen.

Black & Decker Ready Wrench
You can always count on a Black & Decker tool to make a holiday gift idea list. This is yet another take on a wrench but an easy gift that will most certainly be used. A tool I do use frequently.

Swiss Army Knife
Another perfect gift that will always be used and never re-gifted. Leatherman utility knives are also another great choice.

Enough Said.

Yankee Candle: Pinecone & Lime or Cherries on Snow scented candles
Yankee Candles help to provide that warm homey feel. And these great holiday scents will be inviting to all of your guests.

Guacamole Kit
Just in time for the big Super Bowl game. Don’t bother with the preservative laden guacamole purchased at your local grocery store, just make your own. Freshness never tasted better.

Salsabol – salsa bowl
Another great item for highlighting comfort foods.

Samuel Smiths Winter Welcome
One of the most delicious holiday brews to drink.

Sam Adams Old Fezewig’s Ale
Another great holiday staple.

Cariloha bamboo t-shirts
Quite frankly the most soft and comfortable t-shirts you can imagine. A little expensive for a t-shirt, but hey you can’t put a price on comfort can you? Cariloha offers a variety of products including socks and sheets.

Under Armor Fleece Storm Hoody
You can never have enough hoodies. It is the only thing I wear for six months out of the year. These hoodies are weather proof and will keep you toasty and dry during any weather pattern. When buying a hoody for someone on your list be sure that the item has a little color as no one wants a plain grey hoodie.

Beard Hat
Keep your head and face warm this winter with the beard hat.

Adidas Climacool Boat Sneaker
No more need for hippy loving Teva’s. These sneakers are great near water, provide better support and look cool. I personally love my pair and only wish I could wear them more. These sneakers come in a variety of colors including black, green, red and blue.

Nike Dri-Fit Lightweight Gloves
Not too bulky but will still do the job of keeping your hands warm on most days.
